Lynch Mob vocalist Oni Logan has checked in with the following update:
"'A brother has left the building.' As a new year shines a light so do new beginnings. Some that make the heart flutter and some that just have to happen. I've been the original vocalist for Lynch Mob on and off for many years, I've played a lot of great shows and traveled a lot of miles with this band, I'm very proud to have been a part of the recordings and the brotherhood. I'd like to say thanks to the fans who have continued to come to our shows over the years and for all your interest in what we had to say in our new recordings. Very excited for 2018! I'll be putting together a new recording and touring project. Writing and recording has always been the most satisfying aspect in being a musician, I'll be looking forward to writing with other artist and bands, 2018 is wide open and I'm feeling a sense of new beginnings coming on... Best to all in 2018." Lynch Mob’s new album, The Brotherhood, was released on Friday, September 8th via Rat Pak Records. Veteran Japanese metallers LOUDNESS will release their new album, "Rise To Glory", on January 26 via earMUSIC (world excluding Japan). The follow-up to 2014's "The Sun Will Rise Again" is "packed with aggression, melody and positive vibes," according to a press release.
The song "I'm Still Alive", taken from "Rise To Glory", can be streamed below. LOUDNESS vocalist Minoru Niihara says: "The album cheers you up, makes you feel fresh." From the rock maelstrom of "Massive Tornado" to the young burning passion of "Soul On Fire", the life-glorifying "I'm Still Alive" and the declaration of metal warfare of "Rise To Glory", all the songs are fitting for the age of turmoil. The guitar wizardry of Akira Takasaki, hailed around the world as one of the true guitar gods, is featured throughout the album. He says: "I played lots of guitars, more than any other albums this century. There was soul in the sounds." In addition to guitar solos on each song, there is amazing playing on the instrumental track, leaning towards the progressive side of the band. Along with the hurtling speed tunes such as "Massive Tornado", "No Limit" and "Rise To Glory", the variety of songwriting takes the listener to an amazing journey. "Rain" has the melancholic mood, "Until I See The Light" focuses on the melodic side of the band, and "Let's All Rock" has a heated call-and-response with the audience to recreate their live performance. The European and U.S. version of "Rise To Glory" is accompanied by "Samsara Flight", a collection of 13 tracks of the band's early classics re-recorded (originally released in Japan in 2016), including "Loudness" and "In The Mirror". "Rise To Glory" track listing: 01. Soul On Fire 02. I'm Still Alive 03. Go For Broke 04. Until I See The Light 05. The Voice 06. Massive Tornado 07. Kama Sutra (instrumental) 08. No Limits 09. Bad Loser 10. Rise To Glory 11. Rain 12. Who And For Whom LOUDNESS has released twenty-six studio albums, five of them in the U.S. The band's lineup has changed multiple times since 1981, with the current incarnation consisting of three original members — lead singer Minoru Niihara, guitarist Akira Takasaki and bassist Masayoshi Yamashita — along with drummer Masayuki Suzuki, who joined the group in 2009. Original LOUDNESS drummer Munetaka Higuchi died in 2008 after a year-long battle with liver cancer. LOUDNESS released a special thirtieth-anniversary edition of its classic "Thunder In The East" album in Japan in November 2015 in several different versions, featuring demo recordings, bonus DVDs with live footage from their 1985 U.S. tour, a documentary about the making of the LP and other things.

"Burnin' The Candle", the new video from SAINTED SINNERS, the band featuring former ACCEPT singer David Reece, can be seen below. The song is taken from SAINTED SINNERS' second album, "Back With A Vengeance", which will be released on February 16 via El Puerto Records.
Says guitarist Frank Pané: "For the video, we went for a very spontaneous approach. Having a day off in Hamburg between two shows, we were happy to have our friend Volker Thiele (who did our previous clips as well) with us. There was no bigger plan what to do; we basically walked through the city searching for cool locations." Reece adds: "The shooting was a challenge, because firstly the weather was cold and we shot some on the pier in Hamburg, but it was freezing balls and tough to do. We looked behind us and there was Hard Rock Cafe Hamburg, so we asked the manager out of need to warm up if we could shoot some footage and he luckily agreed, before we froze to death, haha!" Expressing the "pure essence of rock 'n' roll" was the ambition that paired those four well-known and experienced musicians together in early 2016 to create and play the music which is deeply inside their hearts and in their blood. The love for rock legends, such as DEEP PURPLE, LED ZEPPELIN, RAINBOW, WHITESNAKE, UFO, BLACK SABBATH, VAN HALEN and many others, built the cornerstone for the music of the new founded quartet called SAINTED SINNERS. Fronted by the unique, soul-driven voice of American-born vocalist David Reece and highly gifted guitar player Frank Pané (BONFIRE), SAINTED SINNERS got completed by the dynamic rhythm section of the two former PURPENDICULAR members Malte Frederik Burkert (bass) and the Hungarian drum maestro Berci Hirleman. "We were aiming for a more guitar-heavy approach this time and also a warmer, more ballsy sound," explains Pané and continues: "This time we already knew where to go. You definitely can hear my huge VAN HALEN and Randy Rhoads influences more than on the previous one. But it also has that DEEP PURPLE touch, even with less keyboards this time. In other songs, you definitely hear a RAINBOW and DIO influence... and it goes on and on. These influences are totally natural and are not planned. So we just go with the flow and that's the essence of rock 'n' roll for us." The keyboards on "Back With A Vengeance" were handled by guest musicians Angel Vafeiadis and Eric Ragno, who is known for his work with Alice Cooper, Paul Stanley(KISS) and Billy Gibbons (ZZ TOP). "I'm really happy and satisfied with the end result," summarizes Pané. "Being a new band, it's hard to be recognized nowadays with all the hundreds of releases every month, so we wanted to make a statement that SAINTED SINNERS is a band you should look out for." SAINTED SINNERS is: David Reece - Vocals Frank Pané - Guitar Malte Frederik Burkert - Bass Berci Hirleman - Drums

John Corabi's Live Album Of His Performance Of Motley Crue's Entire 1994 Album Due In February1/11/2018 Former MÖTLEY CRÜE singer John Corabi will release a live album of his performance of the band's entire 1994 self-titled album, recorded on October 27, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee. Due on Friday, February 16 via Rat Pak Records, "Live '94: One Night In Nashville" documents the album in its entirety along with the bonus track "10,000 Miles" which was originally released as a bonus track on the Japanese version of the "Quaternary" EP. "I love the way this record came out. I wanted something pure, and I think we've got it here!" exclaims Corabi. The "Live '94: One Night In Nashville" band is comprised of John Corabi (guitar, vocals), Jeremy Asbrock (guitar, vocals), Phil Shouse (guitar, vocals), Tommy Daley (guitar) and Ian Corabi (drums, percussion). The album was recorded live at The Basement in Nashville and contains no overdubs or backing tracks. The recording even includes two tracks of Corabi addressing the crowd about his time in MÖTLEY CRÜE. "I have to congratulate the guys in my band for helping me do a live album with no backing tracks or extras," Corabi says. "It's how it should've sounded live." Corabi originally joined CRÜE in 1992 as the replacement for the group's original singer, Vince Neil, who was fired due to personal differences. With Corabi on vocals, MÖTLEY CRÜEreleased one critically acclaimed full-length CD, which ended up being a commercial failure in the wake of grunge despite a Top-Ten placing on the album chart. When Neil returned to the fold in 1997, Corabi was left on his own and formed the band UNION with ex-KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick. Corabi in 2016 said that he would avoid talking about MÖTLEY CRÜE in the future because he didn't want his comments about bassist Nikki Sixx to descend into a feud. In an interview with Sweden Rock Magazine, Sixx said that writing the "Mötley Crüe" LP with Corabi was a prolonged and difficult experience. He went to call it "a very unfocused record" that was "painful for me, because John Corabi can't write lyrics, and I had to do all that work." Corabi initially responded to Sixx's comments by saying that he didn't "give a shit" about what his ex-bandmate had to say, but later told an interviewer, when asked about it again, "I have no idea why Nikki feels that I'm the biggest piece of shit to roam the Earth." He then proceeded to take to his Facebook page to claim that he would "officially have nothing to say about any member of MÖTLEY CRÜE ever again," adding that he was "not backing this bullshit stirring that is happening to start a feud." Corabi in 2015 contributed lead vocals to two songs from MÖTLEY CRÜE guitarist Mick Mars, apparently called "Gimme Blood" and "Shake The Cage", which were recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. The tracks have yet to be released, although snippets of both cuts have surfaced online. Courtesy of www.blabbermouth.net

Heavy Mental Breakdown Cover Art: Chris “Dwarf” Hale Check out a NO GUFF TEASER VIDEO at the following location: https://youtu.be/CG44Oty9Rl8 Formed in Oshawa, Ontario in 1981, Killer Dwarfs released their debut album in 1983, followed by their classic releases STAND TALL, BIG DEAL, and DIRTY WEAPONS, which earned the band a massive following for their style of NWOBHM inspired Hard Rock, and tongue in cheek humor, which is nowhere more evident than in their videos. Iconic clips for “Stand Tall”, “We Stand Alone”, “Keep The Spirit Alive”, and “Dirty Weapons” made frequent appearances on national video outlets like MTV, HEADBANGER’S BALL, MUCHMUSIC, and more, helping the Dwarfs sell over 2 million records, and tour the World in arenas and stadiums supporting artists like Iron Maiden. The band parted ways in the early 90s, and reformed briefly in 2001, before another hiatus that would last over another decade. In 2013 the band reformed and independently released START@ONE, their final unreleased 1993 studio album, and began full time touring across the US and Canada. The Dwarfs were back. And this time to stay. EMP’s Thom Hazaert says, “It came down to a lengthy bidding war between EMP, Monster Records Musik, and Conglomerate Records, and thankfully we came out on top. So we opened Russ’ crate, I held him down while David cut his finger open, and the deal was done. Now we own these guys for the rest of their natural born lives, or at least until the end of 2022. Whichever comes first.” He adds, “But really, no. I was talking to uber Canadian journalist Mitch Lafon one day, and we got to talking about KILLER DWARFS, and he knew them (of course, he’s from Canada), and I asked about their current whereabouts. He put me in touch with Russ and the rest is history. I personally love the Dwarfs and think they were one of the great underrated Metal bands of the 80’s, and they are honestly still just as awesome today. We are super excited to own their asses for the next decade. JK. Now, back in the crate.” Disclaimer: No Dwarfs were harmed in the making of this Press Release. |
