We can finally properly announce two new releases after making sure our website had been fully updated! Both of these albums are SILVER PRESSED and available now on www.fnarecords.net First up, is the band Landslide. Originally from Denver, CO and later part of the ever thriving Los Angeles Sunset Strip scene, Landslide were a band that had a large local draw and managed to release two vinyls that are well known among hard rock collectors: "Is Hard Rock" and "Bad Reputation." The music on "Is Hard Rock" from 1987 contained keyboards and followed a bit more melodic direction, but after releasing it and beginning to transition to the LA area, Landslide decided on a full hard rock style which followed them the rest of their duration as a band, switching from a 5 piece to a 4 piece. This new release on FnA Records is the definitive Landslide collection, combining the songs from both of their independent vinyls as well as songs from cassette demos they released while packing clubs on the Strip. Second, we have released a new treat for Godz fans, Vol. 3 of the Godz Tribute series titled "Vol. 3: Gotta Keep A Runnin’." This all-star tribute contains covers of Godz classics featuring musicians such as Joel Ellis (Cats In Boots), Cold Blue Rebels (members of The Zeros/Jetboy), Richie Ranno (Starz), Billy Morris (Warrant), and The Mentors among others. Recommended for any Godz fan and we thank the Godz community for always supporting these releases! Stay tuned as we will have another brand new release later in November! The Dead Daisies have announced that Deen Castronovo is joining the band as their new drummer. "Deen is here in Nashville with us where we are beginning the recording of the new album today," reads a statement from the band. "We’d like to thank Brian Tichy who has decided to pursue other projects next year. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours. We cannot wait for you guys to hear this new album we are working on! It will be a real bone-shaker!" Deen Castronovo is best known as the drummer for Journey, who he played with from 1998 to 2015. He's also played with Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, and G//Z/R to name but a few. And of course, Deen plays in Revolution Saints with The Dead Daisies lead guitarist Doug Aldrich, who just released their new album, Light In The Dark. Courtesy of www.bravewords.com
Pink Cream 69 will release their new album, Headstrong, on November 10th. A video for the album track “Walls Come Down” is available for streaming below.
Headstrong marks the 30th Anniversary of the German hard rockers Pink Cream 69. And what better way to celebrate than by adding yet another gem to their already spectacular discography! Produced by bassist (and renowned producer) Dennis Ward, Headstrong sees the same line-up from 2013’s well received Ceremonial album return to deliver fans another hard rocking set of quality songs and is their 12th studio album overall. As a special treat, the new release includes a bonus live album featuring songs from across the band’s catalogue. Dennis Ward says: When we released our first album in 1989, we were proud to be a “guitar band” that yielded powerful guitar riffs and soaring vocal melodies. Since the release of Ceremonial it became evident to us that we had to take a step back to be able to make 2 steps forward so we made a “master plan”: to resurrect our earliest form of songwriting incorporating these riffs and melodies, reducing the amount of keyboards and keeping the production to a minimum of sonic layers in order to be as true as possible to our sound - the sound of fat and crunchy guitars. I feel that the new Headstrong album is a high-energy recording that redeems us as the powerful rock n’ roll band we used to be. After weeks of cross checking the production, listening to the CD in my car, I take great pride in saying “mission accomplished”. We look so very forward to presenting our new “baby”.” Pink Cream 69 was founded in 1987 by singer Andi Deris, guitarist Alfred Koffler, drummer Kosta Zafiriou, who were later joined by bassist Dennis Ward. Deris left the band in 1994 and after auditioning various singers was replaced by Englishman David Readman.

Legendary Rockers Zebra To Celebrate 35th Anniversary Of Debut Album With West Coast Mini Tour11/3/2017 Legendary rock band ZEBRA will celebrate the thirty-fifth anniversary of its debut album by performing the LP in its entirety. The group's first West Coast tour in three decades will take place in February and will feature all original members: Randy Jackson, Felix Hanneman and Guy Gelso. Founded in 1975 in Louisiana, ZEBRA eventually relocated to New York. Jackson, Hanneman and Gelso toured relentlessly on the East Coast before getting signed by Jason Flom at Atlantic Records. In 1983, ZEBRA's first LP became the fastest-selling debut album in the label's history, making it a cult classic to legions of fans all over the world. The band started their career by playing covers of LED ZEPPELIN, THE MOODY BLUES and RUSH songs, and it was their early fans' reaction to their LED ZEPPELIN renditions that helped convince the band to bring their act to New York. They had introduced their original material into their cover sets years before they were signed to Atlantic Records, including "The La La Song", "Free" and "Bears" (originally titled "The Bears Are Hibernating"). The band continued to tour throughout the 1980s, but took a temporary break in the early 1990s. Randy Jackson formed his solo band RANDY JACKSON'S CHINA RAIN, and released its only album in the year 1993. ZEBRA finally reunited in 1997 and released "Zebra IV" in 2003, their first album of all-new material since 1986. A DVD of live performances, mostly from a show at the House of Blues in New Orleans, was released in the summer of 2007. On July 10, 2010, during the band's thirty-fifth-anniversary performance at New Orleans' Mahalia Jackson Theater, ZEBRA was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame. On October 8, 2012, the band was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. ZEBRA tour dates: Feb. 08 - Brick By Brick, San Diego, CA Feb. 09 - Whisky A Go-Go, Hollywood, CA Feb. 10 - Count's Vamp'd, Las Vegas, NV Feb. 11 - BLK Live, Scottsdale, AZ Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 3.
