A special deluxe version of MÖTLEY CRÜE's multi-platinum fourth studio album, "Girls Girls Girls", will be released on August 25 to coincide with the LP's thirtieth anniversary. The set will be offered in various exclusive bundles. Sign up at www.motley.com now to receive all updates on this release and additional surprises from the band coming up.
A trailer for the "Girls Girls Girls" special deluxe edition is available below. A product of the '80s Hollywood Sunset Strip, MÖTLEY CRÜE was the quintessential L.A. hair metal band. Their string of hit albums and crossover songs on radio and MTV was only matched by their over-the-top live show, mounting legal bills, and alarming drug use. By 1987, the band was dancing on a fine line between real life or death. MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx told the "In The Studio" show what he remembered about the Billboard No. 2-charting album. "We were a mess," he said. "I know we didn't go overseas, because the management said, 'You guys go, and somebody’s not coming back. Or if they do, they're coming back in a body bag... We were operating like a punk band! We were completely out of control." MÖTLEY CRÜE's last studio album was 2008's "Saints Of Los Angeles", which was followed by a 2009 "Greatest Hits" compilation. A tour film about MÖTLEY CRÜE's final shows, "The End", came out last fall, and a film adaptation of the band's 2001 autobiography "The Dirt" is still said to be in the works. Sixx told SiriusXM's "Debatable" about MÖTLEY CRÜE's decision to call it quits after one last show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles following an eighteen-month tour that saw the group performing to packed houses all over the world: "MÖTLEY CRÜE was never really meant to stay together. I mean, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. It was wired like a bunch of Rottweilers or like a gang. And there's all these Type A personalities and different issues within the band that made it really magical. But maturity and that doesn't necessarily work together, and I think that it was kind of cool that we sat down together and said, 'Hey, man, let's just let this thing go.'"

The two legendary drum brothers Carmine (Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osbourne, Blue Murder, King Kobra) and Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio, Last In Line) are recording their first ever studio album together this spring under the name Appice. “After decades in this crazy music business, we will sit down for the first time and record songs TOGETHER for an amazing new studio album! The album will feature both new songs and classic tracks from our history! This is very exciting for us as we will have, as Ringo said, “A Little Help from My/Our Friends”. With that in mind, the result will be great sounding spine-shaking rhythmic foundations, along with BIG giant melodic guitars from hell, and on top, blazing vocals and melodies that will tear it all up! A first in a lifetime for us brothers!" say Carmine and Vinny. Expect some great friends/guests to contribute to this album including Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake), Paul Shortino (Quiet Riot, Rough Cutt), Johnny Rod (W.A.S.P., King Kobra), Craig Goldy (Dio), Tony Franklin (The Firm, Blue Murder) and members of Last In Line among others. Carmine says: “I am so excited to be doing this new Appice CD. It is always a challenge and fun doing music with Vinny. This CD is no exception and we will be doing cool songs with double drumming and lots ear candy for our fans, not to mention playing with some of our special friends. The recording process is coming out great. Cannot wait to finish and take it on the road! Heavy drums and heavy songs. It will kill!” Vinny adds: “A studio album that was years in the making has now come to life! Our first ever studio CD together. With great songs, musicians and of course drums and rhythms that will overwhelm your ears and fascinate your mind!” Olly Hahn (Head of Steamhammer) says: "It's an honour to welcome these legendary drummers to the Steamhammer family. Be prepared for an album filled with great musicians and a lot of drum wars!!!" The yet untitled studio album will be released in October 2017 through SPV/Steamhammer as CD digipack, double gatefold vinyl, download and stream. Courtesy of www.bravewords.com Heavy metal pioneers ACCEPT are back in the game with a new studio album! The record entitled »The Rise Of Chaos«, will be unleashed on August 4th, 2017. The band’s 4th studio release through Nuclear Blast will continue the tradition of its three predecessors – »Blood Of The Nations«,»Stalingrad«, and »Blind Rage« – with grandeur and precision. Today, the band has unveiled the cover artwork of the new record, which was created by Gyula Havancsák (GRAVE DIGGER, DESTRUCTION a.o.) “THE RISE OF CHAOS is something I have been thinking about often. Wherever we go – there is some hidden as well as some visible destruction and it kind of changes the world we know. What was there today – can be gone tomorrow and it’s kind of irritating, because it happens on so many levels and no one knows what comes next. The cover is our last stage set – but now clearly destroyed – like….. after a catastrophe!” explains Wolf Hoffmann. And if this wasn’t enough, ACCEPT will celebrate the album’s live premiere exclusively on August 3rd, on the day before its release, as a part of a special show at Wacken Open Air, Germany. The set will consist of three parts, which represent the band’s creative power: Part 1 will bring fans a classic ACCEPT set, packed with new and old hits. Part 2 will present another premiere: Wolf Hoffmann will be playing tracks from his solo album »Headbangers Symphony«, released in 2016, with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra for the very first time. On this record, Wolf has covered famous opuses by composers such as Beethoven, Vivaldi, and Mozart, in a metal guise. And in Part 3, all elements can be seen and heard together: ACCEPT will make the holy Wacken ground shake by sharing the stage with the orchestra, supported by a complex multimedia show. This unique concert experience will take place on this year’s »Night To Remember« which makes it even more special. The »Night To Remember« is a celebrated, long-lasting Wacken tradition; for one night of the festival a selection of established bands will do something unique and special with their performance. Wolf Hoffmann stated: “It’s always impressive to see how bands take this evening seriously and how much love the artists and the organising team put into their work to get a varied result. It’s a great tradition which underlines and documents the top-notch level of the international rock community like nothing else. We also want to present something that ACCEPT has never done before, we hope we can give something really special to the fans.” “ACCEPT have been and are still a very important part of Germany’s heavy metal scene. We’re really looking forward to having them with us once more. With this epic concept, the Thursday evening will be one to remember for sure,” stated Thomas Jensen, organiser of Wacken Open Air.
